This site specific project, featuring seven international artists, explores divergent plots and narratives, giving space to intimate encounters with artworks in the setting of the mysterious secret apartment. Curated by French artist Ann Grim, this exhibition captures mini zeitgeist in the lives of artists, the now and beyond of their universe, a post pandemic response and reflex, in an ever more fragmented, schizophrenic, complex world that is evolving around us.

Este proyecto específico para el lugar, presenta la obra de siete artistas internacionales, explora tramas y narrativas divergentes, dando espacio a encuentros íntimos con obras de arte en el entorno del misterioso apartamento secreto. Comisariada por la artista francesa Ann Grim, esta exposición captura un mini espíritu del tiempo en las vidas de los artistas, el ahora y el más allá de su universo, una respuesta y reflexión postpandémica, en un mundo cada vez más fragmentado, esquizofrénico y complejo que evoluciona a nuestro alrededor.
SAS is a site specific project, designed for international artists and their special guests. This exhibition explores divergent plots and narratives, giving space to intimate encounters with intriguing artworks in the setting of the mysterious secret apartment, situated in the hub of the iconic Arsenale. Curated by Ann Grimm and co curated by Vanya Balogh, this exhibition captures mini zeitgeist in the lives of artist, the now and beyond of their universe, a post pandemic response and reflex, in ever more fragmented, schizophrenic, complex world that is evolving around us. Exploring the themes of biology, science, technology, displacement, unbearable sex and inevitable war, the works express ambiguous destinations for humanity and investigate tension space between real and imagined. A selection of works presented as site specific ideas horizontally collide with objects and works in all media carefully presented across the rooms and spaces of this Venetian apartment. SAS will evolve day by day with a set of informal performative events and projections, starting on 16th April at 4pm and ending on 22nd April at 6pm. This exhibition contains sensitive content and is by appointment only.
SAS es un proyecto creado por artistas internacionales y sus invitados especiales para este apartamento especial. Esta exposición explora diferentes tramas y narrativas, dando lugar a encuentros íntimos con cautivadoras obras que se crearon para el misterioso apartamento secreto, situado del icónico Arsenale de Venecia. Comisariada por Ann Grimm y co-comisariada por Vanya Balogh, esta exhibición captura un mini espíritu de la época en las vidas de los artistas, el ahora y más allá de su universo, como respuesta y reflexión al mundo postpandémico.
En un mundo cada vez más fragmentado, esquizofrénico y complejo que evoluciona a nuestro alrededor, la exposición explora los temas de biología, ciencia, tecnología, desplazamiento, sexo insoportable y guerra inevitable. Las obras expresan destinos ambiguos para la humanidad e investigan el espacio tenso entre lo real y lo imaginado. Una selección de obras presentadas como ideas específicas del lugar chocan horizontalmente con objetos y obras en todos los medios, presentados cuidadosamente en las habitaciones y espacios de este apartamento veneciano.
SAS evolucionará día a día con una serie de eventos informales y proyecciones, comenzando el 16 de abril a las 4 p. m. y finalizando el 22 de abril a las 6 p. m. Esta exposición contiene contenido sensible y se realiza solo con cita previa.
